乌日策共和国 Užička republika
1941年4月6日，德、意法西斯侵略者以23个师的兵力迅速占领了南斯拉夫，6月27日南共中央决定成立南斯拉夫人民游击司令部，铁托任总司令，发动了全国规模的七月起义，并以乌日策为中心在塞尔维亚西部山区，建立了第一个解放区。南共中央和游击队最高司令部均设于此，乌日策迅速成为全国反法西斯运动的中心，被人们亲切地称为“乌日策共和国”。解放区共占地1.5万平方公里，人口约100万，建立有医院、兵工厂、后勤补给基地，成为原南地区抗击法西斯侵略的第一个根据地。指挥员波拉率领游击队在乌日策首战告捷，并且在艰苦的战争生活中与美丽的娜达姑娘产生了纯洁的爱情。后来，保皇军和德国法西斯勾结在一起，联合进攻乌日策，存在了67天的新政权被残酷地扼杀。于是，游击队又开始踏上新的战斗征程。
